Amy Clark Eagle

Amy joined the Forest Stewardship Council US in 2016 as the Director of Science and Certification. In this role she leads the FSC team dedicated to development and application of FSC policies and standards in the United States, including the FSC US Forest Management Standard and FSC Controlled Wood US National Risk Assessment. Amy spent much of the previous 19 years collaborating with government and non-government partners to develop and implement landscape-scale conservation and management plans within managed forests. Prior to joining FSC, Amy served as Biodiversity and Conservation Program Leader for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ (MDNR) Forest Resources Division, where one of her primary responsibilities was working to ensure that the MDNR maintained FSC forest management certification for 4 Million acres of state-administered forest lands. Amy is a graduate of Amherst College and earned her M.S. in Wildlife Science at the University of Washington-Seattle’s College of Forest Resources.

Shawn Collier

As Director of Marketing, Shawn leads all aspects of the FSC US brand and marketing strategy, including marketing activation and creative, marketing effectiveness, member and stakeholder engagement, and media and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining FSC US, Shawn served as the Chief Marketing Officer for a burgeoning healthcare system in Texas. Previously, he spent 14 years as the Strategy Director and Principal of the Houston-based brand and creative firm Origin where he led marketing and communications efforts that helped established brands grow and enter new markets.

Shawn is a graduate of the University of Houston where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and serves on the advisory board for the Jack J. Valenti School of Communication at his alma mater.

Maggie Abel

Maggie Abel is working for FSC US as the Senior Marketing Manager. She helps execute and support various marketing and business development efforts including digital marketing, trademark license management, and event logistics and planning. Prior to becoming the Senior Marketing Manager, Maggie was a Program Assistant and then a Program Manager at FSC US where she served as liaison to the Board of Directors, managed the the FSC US Membership program, and acted as office manager. Maggie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a BBA in Marketing and a Certificate in Digital Studies. Born and raised in Minnesota, she loves spending time outdoors with friends and family.


Tom Kain

Tom joined FSC US in late 2021 as the Senior Manager for Forest Management Certification Markets. In this role, Tom will build close relationships with current FSC US forest management certificate holders to discover their opportunities and challenges. Tom will also help to develop FSC US’s long-term strategy to expand the US FM certification. During his career Tom has worked as a land management forester for both public and private forestland owners as well as in wood procurement across the United States. Tom is a member of the Society of American Foresters and an SAF Certified Forester. Before joining FSC US, he worked for Domtar Paper Company as a procurement forester at the Kingsport, TN papermill. Tom is a graduate of Humboldt State University in Arcata, California where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and a Master of Science in Natural Resources.

Jenna Mueller

Jenna joined FSC US in late 2021 after eight years as an auditor and Chain of Custody (COC) Specialist for a Certification Body that managed forestry and agriculture certifications along with developing tailored sustainability services.

Her role is to ensure accurate and consistent implementation of the FSC COC, Trademark, and associated policies and standards in the US as a subject matter expert in FSC Chain of Custody and Trademarks. She assists certificate holders and trademark license holders, administers FSC US’s Trademark License Program, and works with certification bodies to ensure consistent and effective auditing of COC certificate holders. Additionally, she works with FSC International to develop and improve COC, Trademarks, and other associated standards and systems.

Prior to joining FSC she worked as a consultant and environmental compliance auditor, spent many years working for international non-governmental organizations and various non-profits, focusing on resource mapping, conservation, science education, and disaster adaptation/mitigation. Additionally, she spent nearly five years as a biologist and manager for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

She has a B.A. in biology from Western Colorado University and a M.A. in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

Anna Grotzky

As Operations Manager, Anna provides oversight, strategy, and management of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the team has the resources and systems needed to achieve FSC’s mission. She sees her efforts at FSC as an extension of her love of the natural world and her desire to protect it.

Before Joining FSC, Anna consulted for several small businesses and startups focused on reshaping public services in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment. The operational strategies she provided helped them scale and grow efficiently. Through these roles, Anna deepened her leadership skills and gained valuable insights into the complexities of managing a workforce and how effectively guide teams to success.

Anna spends her free time practicing and teaching yoga, exercises her green thumb with the local garden club, and loves exploring her surroundings by hiking, biking, and paddling in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
