FSC at Living Future in Seattle

On April 1– 3, 2015, the 9th annual Living Future unConference 2015 will beheld in Seattle, WA. Living Future is a forum for leading minds in the green building movement, as people work to address the daunting challenges of our time.
FSC has been a regularly participant at Living Future, due particularly to the fact that the Living Building Challenge requires all wood to be FSC certified or reclaimed/recycled.
This year, FSC is organizing a panel, “Market Building: Seeing the Forest for the (FSC) Trees.” Moderated by FSC US communications director Brad Kahn, the session also includes Jennifer Frey of Sellen Construction, Jason Lear of Batt and Lear and Ellen Southard of Site Story. The session will introduce new research about market dynamics for FSC solid wood products, and focus on proven strategies each panelist has used to source FSC products for construction projects.
In addition, FSC will have a presence in the Trade Show, largely to engage practitioners and help answer questions they may have. Also included are FSC-certified companies, 9Wood, Collins, and Columbia Forest Products.
