Public Comment Period on FSC Principles & Criteria Closes September 4
For the first time in almost 15 years, FSC’s International Center is engaged in a comprehensive process to review and revise the FSC Principles & Criteria (P&C).
The P&C is FSC’s core document for forest management certification. National Initiatives, such as FSC-US, base their forest management standards off compliance with the P&C by developing indicator-level requirements to comply with each criterion.Draft 2-0 of the FSC Principles & Criteria (FSC-STD-01-001 V5-0 D2-0) is the first of three drafts to be developed by the P&C Review Working Group for public consultation.
