Headquarters Move to Bonn Complete

The scheduled move of FSC headquarters from Oaxaca, Mexico to Bonn, Germany is complete. The main function of the FSC International Center (FSC-IC) in Bonn will be to coordinate FSC actions worldwide, in close contract with the Regional Offices and National Initiatives. read more …

Kinko’s Adds First FSC-Certified Paper

Kinko’s Inc. will now be offering its first FSC-certified paper product in each of its retail locations. The ENVIRONMENT Ultra Bright White® brand paper, manufactured by Neenah Paper, contains a minimum of 20 percent FSC-certified fiber. The remainder is post-consumer fiber. Kinko’s also added Neenah Paper’s 100-percent post-consumer fiber ENVIRONMENT® line for six of its resume, executive and cardstock paper offerings. read more …

FSC-U.S. Elects New Board Members

FSC-US is extremely pleased to announce the election of four new members to its Board of Directors. The newly elected members are: Mark Slezak, Timber Manager for Columbia Forest Products in Kalmath Falls, Oregon; Kent Gilges, Director of Forest Conservation Programs for The Nature Conservancy in Rochester, New York; Karen Steer, Sustainable Forestry Program Officer for Sustainable Northwest in Portland, Oregon; and Joshua Dickinson, Executive Director of the Forest Management Trust in Gainsville, Florida. Elected Directors replace retiring Board members and fill the open seat left with the departure of Ned Daly to join the FSC-US staff. read more …
