Certified Forest Products International Conference and Showcase

As a prominent member of the Global Forest and Trade Network (GFTN), CFPC is taking its turn this year as the host for the annual international forum featuring exclusively FSC certified products.

Last year’s event was held in England, with over 1,000 people in attendance. This year’s conference promises to rival last year’s, with over 2,000 expected participants and a stellar list of speakers and sponsors. Invited speakers include: David Ford, President, CFPC; Steve Howard, Director of Global Forest and Trade Initiative Project, WWF-International; Mark Baker, Exec-VP, The Home Depot; Anita Roddick, founder, The Body Shop; and Dr. David Orr, Chair, Environmental Studies Program, Oberlin College. The audience is expected to be comprised of manufacturers, purchasing agents, architects, designers and specifiers representing billions in purchasing power from firms committed to certification. Media and environmental advocates will be circulating the floor, looking to enhance their knowledge about certification and the range of certified wood products available to consumers. This conference is an ideal venue for cementing business relationships and establishing a competitive advantage in the certified forest products marketplace.
