A delegation from FSC US attended the Society of American Foresters Kentucky‑Tennessee Chapter Annual Winter Meeting in Knoxville, Tennessee, where sessions covered large inventory set-ups, timber stand improvement, the role of fire in forest management, and other silvicultural topics. 

In the February “President’s Message — Navigating a Changing World,” FSC US President Sarah Billig reflects on the rapid pace of change and emphasizes the organization’s dual goals of expanding certified forest acreage and delivering real value to landowners and forest managers.
