Who is eligible for a Promotional License?
This license is for brands and retailers that use or sell FSC-certified and labeled products or packaging, and who want to use the FSC trademarks in their marketing promotions.
Please note that possession of a Promotional License does not allow a company to place the FSC label on a product it did not directly manufacture. Only FSC-certified Chain of Custody companies—typically the manufacturers—can apply the FSC label to products. A Promotional License simply enables brands and retailers to use FSC trademarks in promotional channels such as websites, social media, catalogs, and advertising to highlight the certified products they offer.
