At San Francisco Climate Week 2025, FSC strengthened its role in the climate finance space by engaging directly with investors, tech leaders, and changemakers to accelerate and scale nature-based climate solutions (NbS) through deeper collaboration.
Our main event—a co-hosted panel with Slalom Consulting, featuring FSC US President, Sarah Billig—focused on how financial institutions and innovators are beginning to integrate nature-based solutions into long-term strategies. Throughout the week, we introduced FSC’s approach to responsible forest stewardship as a practical, credible solution for aligning climate goals with real-world impact.
Other highlights from the week include meeting with investor and tech companies like Google to discuss the future of forest-based climate action and circularity solutions, and deepening collaboration with partners like Salesforce, Switchboard, and Sierra Club Foundation.
