Trademark Training

In 2014 FSC published an online trademark training course for FSC Certificate Holders as part of the ongoing trademark use self-approval pilot project. The course is the first one published in the new FSC eTraining platform.
To thoroughly test the new system, we are opening the training course to all FSC Certificate Holders, free of charge – regardless of participation in the self-approval pilot.
Contents of the training course
The training course is based on Requirements for use of the FSC trademarks by Certificate Holders (FSC-STD-50-001 V1-2) and it aims to give a visual tour through the most important sections of the document.
It consists of a section on general information about FSC trademark use, with the option to choose specific topics, such as trademark use on packaging or on very small items.
Translations and access
The training course is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese. The courses can be accessed after registering in the FSC eTraining platform and entering an access code for the specific course. Each language version has an individual access code.
Certificate Holders interested in attending the course should contact their Certification Body or go to the trademark portal for more information.
