Wall Street Journal Highlights Domtar Industries
On April 25, 2002, The Wall Street Journal highlighted the FSC-certification of Domtar Industries, a leading producer of stationary and other paper products. An excerpt from the article reads, “The FSC certification movement promoting green timber practices has gotten a significant new boost, enlisting Canadian paper company Domtar Inc. to participate in the program as part of an expansion from certifying mainly building products into doing the same for the big paper and packaging market."
Hank Cauley, FSC-U.S. Executive Director was quoted as saying, “Our overall marketing effort now will be to also get greener paper products out there."
