Celebrate FSC Friday Today

On September 25th people around the world will celebrate FSC Friday, an annual event designed to raise awareness about responsible forest management and the Forest Stewardship Council.
Hundreds of different organizations will put on FSC Friday events, ranging from internal gatherings to educate staff, to public tree plantings with local schools.
There will also be a notable uptick in social media, including a Thunderclap hosted by FSC Canada, which will send a pre-arranged message from accounts when people opt in.
FSC Friday started in 2008 and has grown every year. In 2014, 30 countries took part and the #FSCFriday hashtag reached over 1.2 million people worldwide.
