Job Announcement: Director of Science and Certification

The Forest Stewardship Council US seeks a Director of Science and Certification to lead and oversee FSC’s normative framework and application in the US. This is a full-time position, ideally based at our Minneapolis headquarters.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the policies that affect FSC forest management across the United States and around the world.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in forestry, natural resources, conservation biology, ecology or a similar science field. Knowledge of FSC and other certification systems, with at least five years of project management and leadership experience, and experience facilitating diverse stakeholder processes are also required.
