CFPC Offers Certified Wood Project Toolkit
At a workshop at the Natural Capital Center in Portland, OR, the Certified Forest Products Council (CFPC) launched its new educational campaign directed at designers, specifiers, builders and project managers who use certified wood.
The workshop attracted over seventy attendees, and focused on methods for successfully specifying and sourcing FSC materials. The presentation placed special emphasis on securing the FSC-certified materials for the FSC Materials & Resources Credit #7 in the US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. CFPC has developed a PowerPoint presentation and a Certified Wood Project Toolkit which will be available in the near future to its members for direct marketing efforts.
