FSC-U.S. Hires New Development Officer

Terry Boykie possesses more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, primarily on behalf of scientific, environmental, and educational institutions.


Before joining FSC-U.S. in April 2002, Terry provided counsel and guidance conducting feasibility and planning studies, public relations, major gift solicitation, capital campaigns, foundation and corporate giving, pledge redemption, and grant writing for a number of organizations including: National Mentoring Partnership; Optical Society of America; National Audubon Society; American Hotel Foundation; New York Society of Association Executives; Center for Excellence in Education (formerly the Admiral Rickover Foundation); National Association of Conservation Districts; New York Hall of Science; and Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Terry received a BA in biology from Montclair State College and an MA in earth science from Wesleyan University. He is active with the American Society of Association Executives and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Terry lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Barbara.
