Rainforest Alliance Announces New Smartwood Director
The Rainforest Alliance recently announced the appointment of Robert Beer as the new Director of its SmartWood forest certification program.
Beer has worked in various sectors of the forestry industry, including business development, strategic planning, and marketing. Most recently he was director for business development for Rayonier, a global supplier of timber, performance fiber, and wood products, with 2.3 million acres of timberland in the Northwest and Southeast U.S. and in New Zealand.
