Public consultation period announced
FSC advice note on Access to information regarding species and origin of timber
On August 24th, 2012, FSC announced a period of public consultation on the draft advice note on access to information regarding species and origin of timber. This draft advice note will help update the standards to ensure FSC is aligned with various timber legality legislation such as the Lacey Act and the European Union Timber Regulation.
The draft is available now for review.
We encourage FSC stakeholders to review the draft advice note and provide your comments on the form linked below.
