Leading Furniture Manufacturer Knoll, Inc. to Produce Furniture Using FSC “Green" Certification

The Forest Stewardship Council-U.S. is pleased to announce that Knoll Inc., the global furniture manufacturer and designer that creates furnishings for the workplace and home, has received FSC Chain-of-Custody certification. In its FSC-certified line of products, Knoll will offer office furniture systems made from particle board, MDF, veneer, solid lumber, and other wood fiber products that come from responsibly-managed forests. The certification was granted by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), for Knoll’s manufacturing plants in East Greenville, PA, Grand Rapids, MI, and Toronto, ON. read more …
