Allan Waelchli Consulting Forestry Awarded Forest Management Certification

The Rainforest Alliance’s SmartWood Program granted forest management certification to Allan Waelchli Consulting Forestry (AWCF) in early July. The firm located in Shawano, WI serves several Northeastern and Central counties. With Allan Waelchli and his strong forest stewardship philosophy at the helm, the firm has operated for more than 19 years and currently manages approximately 30,550 acres of privately owned forestland. Included in this figure are the 9,942 acres of certified forest, comprised predominantly of aspen/birch, white, jack, and red pine, pin and red oak, northern hardwood and hemlock. read more …

Certification in the Benedictine Tradition
