Countdown to the 2017 General Assembly

The 8th FSC General Assembly will be held October 8-13, 2017 in Vancouver, British Columbia. In preparation, FSC members are invited to submit, review and engage in discussions about proposed motions on the online motions platform.
The deadline to submit motion proposals is March 3.
Proposed motions will be submitted to the Motions Committee via the FSC Secretariat and all proposed motions will be uploaded to the online motions platform by March 17 for review by members. The Motions Committee will review the proposed motions for compliance with protocol and if any motion is not in compliance, it will be returned to the proposer for revision by April 28. The FSC Secretariat will upload all revised motions onto the online motions platform by May 5 for review by members.
FSC US is planning to organize a late Spring or early Summer meeting for US-based members to discuss submitted motions and otherwise prepare for the General Assembly.
A final motions report, including analysis by the FSC Secretariat, will be sent to all FSC members and the online motions platform will be closed on September 1.
