Great Turnout by the Great Lakes
FSC US hosted a regional stakeholder meeting and strategic work session for Certificate Holders, Promotional License Holders and other interested organizations in the Great Lakes region in Minneapolis on April 1, 2025. This was the fourth in our ongoing series which started in the summer of 2024.
Nearly two dozen attendees participated in the full-day event which began with a strategic input session. Representatives from a range of Certificate Holders and Promotional License Holders participated, including the Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Natural Resources, Packaging Corporation of America, Target and Andersen Windows and Doors. We had members from certifying bodies, consulting companies and The University of Minnesota in attendance as well.
The afternoon featured presentations by the FSC US leadership team on a variety of topics, including An Inside Look at FSC US, Progress on the Forest Stewardship Standard, and FSC Aligned for EUDR.
