As the US Green Building Council’s LEED v4 process rolls to a finish, FSC US has developed a Continuing Education Unit for design and building professionals to help develop skills related to specifying, sourcing and building with FSC-certified products.

This program builds on the CEU launched during Greenbuild 2012 in Environmental Design & Construction magazine and focuses on the unique attributes of FSC certification, how FSC interfaces with green building standards, and the most effective tools and strategies for specifying and sourcing FSC products. The program will also address the specific needs of industries that serve project teams using LEED, Living Building Challenge and regional leadership standards, such as architectural millworkers, pro-yards, and contractors.

Sponsorships for the CEU program are available to U.S. and Canadian companies in three tiers– Living, Platinum, and Gold – with benefits including prominent logo and name placement, participation in the CEU development committee, access to content and attendee information, FSC-US newsletter sponsorship and more.

One Gold level sponsorship will be offered via lottery at a 90% discount for businesses with less than $5 million in annual wood product sales (FSC’s group Chain of Custody threshold in the U.S.).

For more information on sponsorship benefits and pricing, please contact Ian Hanna, Director of Business Development, at i.hanna at us.fsc point org or 904-333-1714.
