Introducing Karina Carlson and Maggie Abel

FSC US is thrilled to welcome a new full-time member to our team, along with a summer intern.
Karina Carlson has joined Forest Stewardship Council US as Marketing Manager. She previously worked in nonprofit higher education, dedicating 8+ years to communications and digital marketing. She received an M.A. from the the University of Minnesota’s Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, singing in local choirs, and gardening.
Maggie Abel has joined FSC US as an Intern. Her responsibilities include assisting with the planning and management of Controlled Wood regional meetings, and aiding in marketing and business development efforts. Maggie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Marketing and a Certificate in Digital Studies. As a Minnesota native, she's spent much of her time outdoors and is excited to be a part of the team.
